The Padres are scoring more runs than last year, lots more

I saw this tweet yesterday from the U-T's Matt Calkins.  It signals quite the turnaround for a pathetic Padres offensive team from 2014 to this year, but all that run scoring has only earned the 2015 two more wins than their predecessor.

Padres' run total through 26 games last year? 69. Through 26 this year? 131

The 2015 Padres are averaging 5.04 runs a game, the most for any Padres team in the Petco Park era.  Get this, that 131 runs is the exact same number of runs the 1998 team scored in its first 26 games.
