It’s no secret the Padres consist of a young group of ball players, and with an inexperienced bunch there is always going to be a learning period with plenty of bumps and bruises. The real test is how they come back from those knocks. The last ten games have been an uphill battle, even with the offensive explosion against the Rockies. All their victories on the road were late, come from behind wins, and after a brutal trip for the pitching staff, expectations were pretty low for this short stint at home against the top shelf Milwaukee Brewers.
