Blake Snell looked like his early-season self in a refreshing performance on Thursday evening where he struck out eight and allowed just one run through six full innings. His pitching helped the Padres maintain the early 3-0 lead they built through the first five innings as they went on to survive over Seattle by a score of 3-2.
Jurickson Profar drove in two of the Padres’ three runs with the first coming in the second and the other coming two innings later in the fourth. He finished with a team-high two hits, as well.
