Sharp Anderson, late RBI lift Crew in extras

SAN DIEGO -- Whatever his status is going forward, Ji-Man Choi made the most of his Opening Day opportunity for Milwaukee. Choi doubled and scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 12th inning as the Brewers escaped their opener with a 2-1 victory in San Diego.

Choi's roster status remains in question after the Brewers agreed to a deal with reliever Dan Jennings earlier on Thursday. Choi made his case with a pinch-hit double in the 12th, and Orlando Arcia's ensuing single would bring him home. Jacob Barnes slammed the door in the bottom of the inning.
