SD 6, CIN 2: Ross & Co. rain on Reds parade

After the 7-3 ground pound in Petco Park two nights ago, the Padres look to extend their winning streak to 3 games. (Spoiler alert: They did.) For the first time this season the Friars squared off against the Reds. San Diego was 5-1 against the Reds last year, and kept them under ten runs in the six games they faced off.

Tyson Ross was our weapon tonight. He is undefeated in three lifetime starts against Cincinnati. He beefed that up to 4-0 tonight after going 5 strong innings in a rain-riddled game, giving up only 2 earned runs and striking out 7.
