You ever have one of those weekends where you show up somewhere on time, three days in a row, only to get socked in the gut a dozen times? No? Well, the Padres had one of those weekends. After being outscored 27 to 4 by the Giants over a three game series, the Friars are going to pick up the pieces and soldier through the remainder of September. But at least a few neat things happened today.
One of those neat things was certainly not Odrisamer Despaigne's return to the rotation due to a sore Colin Rae.
