The San Diego Padres took their unblemished record on the road for the first time in 2025. Unfortunately for the team and it’s fans, the Chicago Cubs ended the day with a 3-1 win at Wrigley Field, Friday.
Padres starter Randy Vasquez struggled with command in two innings of his outing and the Cubs took advantage. He faced seven Chicago hitters in the first inning, which included three walks and resulted in a 1-0 lead.
