The San Diego Padres finally put one in the win column. I can already hear you glass-half-empty people screaming “who cares!” It may just be a spring training game, however, today’s was a fun one to watch.
The Padres banged out five home runs in today’s win, a few no-doubters, along with an inside-the-park home run by Franchy Cordero, his second home run of the spring. Just take a moment to longingly admire the wheels on this kid.
Cordero is not making Andy Green‘s job easy this spring. He is proving that his breakout winter campaign was not a fluke.
