The San Diego Padres are off to a 0-4 start. Only Eric Hosmer‘s former team, the Kansas City Royals, are yet to register a win (0-3). To be honest, the Padres haven’t looked dismal nor have they been outplayed completely by either the Brewers or the Rockies.
They deserved to win at least a couple of games against the Brewers. Chase Headley stranded a golden opportunity in the first game of the season with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eleventh.
Brad Hand blew a save with a three-run cushion in the second game and were right in the thick of it until the eighth inning of the series finale against Milwaukee.
