Major League Baseball’s Midsummer Classic is quickly approaching. The All Star game is set to take place in Miami on July 11th, determining whether or not the American League or National League will host four out of the seven possible World Series contests.
Despite the fact that the Padres will not be too interested in the game for this purpose, its ramifications remain significant. The All Star game is always an honor to participate in, and it means everything even if it means nothing statistically or as far as a team’s record is concerned.
Unfortunately, the Friars are far behind in All Star voting, to the extent that at this point, winning a starting role is an impossibility.
