The San Diego Padres held their 2025 FanFest celebration February 2nd with an improvement over the 2023 version. With the signing of Xander Bogaerts and the trade for Juan Soto, excitement was high in 2023 and Petco Park had ten of thousands of people clogging the concourses and walkways. This year (after a 2024 cancellation due to weather) the crowds were divided into two groups, entering at either 10 am or 1 pm. This was a real improvement and made the event more enjoyable.
The players and front office in attendance provided for pressers as well as fan forums, and we were able to discover many nuggets of information for the upcoming season.
