Though a handful of relievers have worked back-to-back days, Padres manager Andy Green said everyone was available a day after the bullpen allowed 10 runs over the final 3 2/3 innings Thursday night. Anyone expecting some overarching shakeup will have to be patient, too, as Green said some new-looks roles will take shape in the coming days as some of the more taxed arms are rested this weekend.
One thing’s for certain: The Padres did not add or subject anyone from a ‘pen that ranks 28th in the majors in ERA (5.06), WHIP (1.49) and has allowed 40 percent of inherited runners to score, tied for third-most in baseball.
