Rymer Liriano did not receive a second chance in San Diego. He may get one in Milwaukee.
The Padres on Thursday traded Liriano, once their most touted outfield prospect, to the Brewers for left-handed reliever Trevor Seidenberger.
Liriano, 24, was designated for assignment last week, opening a roster spot for new Padres shortstop Alexei Ramirez.
