Padres starters return to throttle Giants 9-3

With all their starters back in the lineup together on Friday evening, the Padres easily handled the Giants by a score of 9-3 at Peoria Stadium. The Friars got efficient nights out of Fernando Tatis Jr. and Jake Cronenworth, both of whom finished 2-for-3 at the plate and combined for three runs scored.

The duo of Eguy Rosario and Tucupita Marcano, both just 21 years old, also combined to hit a pair of two-run homers in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively.

It was Tatis that helped San Diego score the first points of the game when he lined a perfect ball between defenders over the top of second base.
