Padres split pair of Sunday decisions following postponement

The Padres and Nationals played roughly a game and a half running from Sunday morning through the afternoon. San Diego closed out game two by a score of 10-4 before dropping a close 8-7 decision in the series finale at Nationals Park.

Game two was highlighted by the efficient batting of Tommy Pham, Manny Machado, and Fernando Tatis Jr. Pham went a perfect three-for-three at the plate with an RBI while Tatis (four-for-five) and Machado (three-for-four) each drove in a pair of runs, as well.

Starter Blake Snell struck out three with four walks and four runs allowed.
