Forrest Wall lined a ball into the outfield in the bottom of the seventh inning, driving in two runs to give the San Diego Padres their first lead of the game over the Texas Rangers en route to a 9-8 win.
Wall was up to bat with the Padres trailing 7-6 with two outs and runners at first and second. He took the third pitch of the at bat and drove it down the line into the right field corner for a triple. Rodolfo Duran, who came in to run for Martin Maldonado after a one-out walk, scored on the play.
