Colorado rookie sensation Trevor Story looks to continue his assault on the record books Saturday night when the Rockies play the middle game of their series with the San Diego Padres
Story homered four times during the Rockies' season-opening series in Arizona, then added two more in his Coors Field debut Friday, making him the first major leaguer to homer in each of his first four games.
"I've never seen anything like it, let alone a rookie," Colorado manager Walt Weiss said.
Story, who had three hits -- including his first non-homer -- in the Rockies' 13-6 loss, tied the major league record by homering in the first four games of a season, joining Chris Davis (2013), Nelson Cruz (2011), Mark McGwire (1998) and Willie Mays (1971).
