The Padres are off to an 11-4 start and a significant reason for that is because of the additions of the following players in our poll: Nick Pivetta, Martin Maldonado, Kyle Hart, Gavin Sheets, Jason Heyward and Jose Iglesias.
Pivetta was the only deal with significant money and so far San Diego’s gotten their money’s worth, as the 32-year-old has thrown 14 shutout innings at Petco Park to kick off his Padres tenure.
