Yesterday the Padres couldn’t repeat their late-inning comeback from Friday, and they fell in game 2 to the Rockies at Coors Fields. Today’s rubber match will determine the victor of the series, and hopefully it’ll result in the Padres’ second series win in a row.
Christian Friedrich will try to be the one to lead the Friars to that victory as he makes his sixth start of the season. The former Rockie, who was drafted in the first round (25th overall) by Colorado in 2008, will be facing his old team for the first time since they released him in February.
