After losing their best offensive player (Fernando Tatis Jr.) to an injury, the San Diego Padres have really struggled to get their offense going. It was no different against the Atlanta Braves tonight.
The Padres struck out 11 times and scored just once, on a Manny Machado solo home run.
In the 8th inning, the Padres (trailing by 4) got the bases loaded with just no outs. It did not end well.
Cal Quantrill looked solid in his debut with the San Diego Padres, and ended up putting up a stat line that looks very similar to the stat lines he was putting up for the El Paso Chihuahuas.
