Padres now tied for most consecutive games with a home run in National League history

The streak lives on! The Padres have now homered in 25 straight games, tying the National League record set by the 1998 Atlanta Braves. Today the man to extend it was utility infielder Adam Rosales, who took Blue Jays knuckleballer R.A. Dickey deep in the third inning to give San Diego a 2-0 lead. It was Rosey's seventh home run of the year and was followed, of course, by his customary sprint around the bases.

Rosales wasn't the only Friar to go yard in this far-too-early game. Brett Wallace extended San Diego's lead to 5-0 in the fifth inning with a solo shot off of Dickey, and then Alex Dickerson added a solo home run of his own off Franklin Morales in the eighth inning.
