BALTIMORE —
Fernando Tatis Jr. was called out twice in Wednesday’s eighth inning — and ended up scoring.
First, he beat out a grounder to the left side but was called out by first base umpire Ed Hickox. A crew chief review left Tatis on first base.
On the second pitch to Eric Hosmer, Tatis took off for second and beat a tag for his second stolen base of the game and 10th of the season but was called out by second base umpire Carlos Torres. Again, a crew chief review overturned the call.
