Manny Machado turned 27 years old on Saturday. The night before his wife, Yainee, surprised him with a McDonald’s-themed birthday cake featuring a 13-piece box of Chicken McNuggets in honor of his No. 13 jersey.
The Chicken McNuggets were strewn across the sheet cake and on top of the box alongside a carton of French Fries, dipping sauces and soda. Machado’s personal “M” logo replaced the McDonald’s “M” on the soda cup and fries carton.
Machado was stilling smiling about the design that Yainee ordered when he arrived at the clubhouse Saturday.
“That’s my (stuff),” he said of McDonald’s.
