Andy Green on Tuesday morning watched every groundball Luis Urias took at shortstop in Triple-A this season. Just to see what he could see. Just to be sure.
He didn’t learn anything he didn’t already know.
“We’re confident he can catch the ball and throw it across from short very well,” the Padres manager said. “He did it repetitively all season in the (Pacific Coast League). … He’s good. He’s going to get to the other side of it. Sometimes going through the fight, not being pulled from the fight is a really productive thing.
