San Diego Padres centerfielder, Wil Myers, does not like being unable to play baseball. Especially after he was off to such a good start to the season. Unfortunately his hurt left wrist had other ideas, and he was forced to have surgery after only being off the DL for a few days. Saturday he got his cast taken off from surgery but still has a ways to go until he can play again, as reported by the UT’s Dennis Lin.

The surgery itself was to remove a bone spur that Myers had developed in middle school and slowly caused more and more pain.
