On October 10th, the Padres announced that they would be bringing brown jerseys in the 2020 season. They are also changing the brand of the jersey.
Back in January, the MLB announced that Nike would become the official uniform sponsor for all teams in the 2020 season. That means that the Padres will have brown nike uniforms that will be worn next season.
From 1969 until 1984, the Padres wore brown and gold jerseys. Those jerseys will be the ones that are brought back next season.
The jerseys will be released on November 9th and fans are eager to see what the new uniforms look like.
