Padres' Myers leaves game with leg injury

MILWAUKEE -- Padres first baseman Wil Myers left Saturday's game in the top of the ninth with an apparent injury.

Myers was injured running to first base on a ground ball to shortstop. It appeared to be a routine double-play ball, but Jonathan Villar bobbled the ball and only recorded one out on the play.

While the umpires reviewed the force out at second base, Padres manager Andy Green and a member of the athletic training staff tended to Myers on the field.

The 25-year-old went 2-for-5 with a double and a home run Saturday.
