Perdomo has been stuck for most of the season. A Rule 5 Draft Pick, if he doesn’t last the entire season on the major league roster he goes back to his original team, and the Padres are in love with the young hurler’s stuff and pitches.
Padres pitching coach Darren Balsey had this to say about Perdomo in spring training: “He has a good arm stroke, good velocity and his secondary pitches are good.
