The San Diego Padres are leaving the nation’s capital as winners against the Washington Nationals in a 3-0 victory, but Dylan Cease is leaving with his own entry in the record books.
Cease allowed no hits, making him the second player in franchise history to throw a no-hitter, joining his teammate Joe Musgrove, who threw one for the Padres in 2021.
