I feel a bit of deja vu typing this out.
The Padres dropped the final contest of their three-game series against the Rockies with a final score of 9-6. While San Diego’s bats were a bit more lively this game, they were once again forced to dig themselves out of a hole late in this once as they headed into the eighth inning down 9-1.
They were certainly able to make the final score look a lot more competitive, thanks in part to a late surge that included a bases-clearing triple by RF Wil Myers.
