After a fast start by the Dodgers propelled by an A.J. Pollock solo home run in the opening inning, the Padres rallied back in the bottom of the ninth to tie things up at 4-4, but of course with it being spring, the two teams decided to call it a draw after nine innings.
Aside from the three early runs allowed, Ryan Weathers had an otherwise decent start in the mound, striking out six batters and walking one. Nabil Crismatt, the 26-year old righty, pitched the game’s final two innings, recording four Ks and allowing a single hit.
