The San Diego Padres are 15-5, the best record in baseball. Top of the NL West and 0.5 games up on the Dodgers. They just lost their first home game after going 11 straight wins. There isn’t much to criticize, but the most impressive thing is how they keep doing this despite Jackson Merrill, Yu Darvish, Jake Cronenworth and Brandon Lockridge being on the IL.
