On June 8th, Jedd Gyorko played his last game before getting sent down to the minors to work out some problems in his swing. He left the Padres with a pitiful .282 OBP and .593 OPS. But since coming up, Jedd Gyorko has been near the productive player he was said to become when still a prospect.

Apparently, after Gyorko’s good rookie season he made changes to his swing to avoid the sophomore slump. Unfortunately, that backfired and he was awful in 2014. When he came back up from AAA at the end of June, his batting stance had been altered slightly.
