On July 14th, the Padres lost against the Atlanta Braves for the third time this week. Putting the Padres three games back for the wild card spot, this was a “frustrating series” says manager Andy Green. Although it has been said before, the Padres are resilient and Fernando Tatis Jr. says, “were confident”, which gives hope to the fans.
This game was especially hard on the Padres bullpen. The score remained 0-0 until the 8th inning when Trey Wingenter gave up 4 runs. The Padres bullpen has struggled before, and the fans have all made their opinions clear about it, but sometimes it’s harder to digest than others.
