Norris, Myers lift Padres over Braves in ninth

The Padres' 4-3, walk-off win over the Braves on Tuesday was as close as the final score indicated. A few feet here, a few feet there, and the result could have flipped.

Derek Norris left no doubt with his game-tying, ninth-inning homer. The Padres catcher, who had spent the season's first two months under the Mendoza Line, continued his June surge. His drive off Braves closer Arodys Vizcaino traveled 409 feet, easily clearing the fence in left-center.

Alexei Ramirez followed the leadoff blast with a single, stole second and took third on a wild pitch. A few minutes later, Wil Myers ripped a single down the left-field line.
