LOS ANGELES —
Andres Munoz has the face of far younger boy with the braces and wide-eyed wonder to match.
The 20-year-old reliever, called up from Triple-A on July 12, seems to want to take everything in. As relievers warm up and work on conditioning, Munoz can often be seen talking to Craig Stammen or Kirby Yates. He asks questions and listens intently.
“I’m not going to lie,” Munoz said. “It’s to stay up here. I don’t want to be one of the people that comes up for a short period of time and gets sent down because I didn’t learn something or learned a laeson or haven’t applied something I should have paid attention to.
