“We continue to try to evolve and grow,” Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman said Tuesday at the General Managers meetings here. “That was one of the only reasons — with the advanced stuff that is coming into play now, we were looking to get even more involved in it. But none of us currently, until we brought Matt Blake on, were in a position to lead that direction.
