SAN DIEGO -- There are signs that indicate Padres slugger Wil Myers might be due to break out of his slump. There are also signs that he isn't.
These days, that seems to be the dichotomy with Myers, who spent most of the first 2 1/2 months of the season on the disabled list. On Friday night, for example, he hit three baseballs at 100 mph or harder, recording two hits in the process. He also struck out twice on six pitches.
"We're taking the positives right now," Padres manager Andy Green said.
