SAN DIEGO -- After a sluggish return from the disabled list, Wil Myers is more than making up for lost time, bashing his sixth home run in his last four games to give the Padres a 4-0 lead over the Dodgers in the fifth inning on Tuesday night at Petco Park.
Myers missed nearly eight weeks with an oblique strain suffered April 28, then returned with a 4-for-23 slump following his June 21 activation. But that certainly has changed.
Myers hit three home runs against the D-backs on Saturday, added another in Sunday's series finale in Arizona and put the Padres on the scoreboard in the ninth inning on Monday.
