The Padres went 30 innings without a run, then scored 29 runs in 15 innings and then lost something that resembled a normal baseball game. Which probably sums up Padres manager Andy Green's sentiment this weekend: They're not as bad as the Dodgers series suggests and not as good as you hope after a pair of video-game-like efforts on Friday and Saturday. Indeed, the Padres (2-4) are a bit of a middling team as they enter a four-game set in Philadelphia, but the following teams are not.
Chicago Cubs (5-1)
Poor, poor Cubs.
