Luis Urias is hitting again. Ty France, for a day, stopped.
It didn’t slow Triple-A El Paso much in a 4-3 win on Monday, the Chihuahuas’ 10th victory in their last 10 games.
France was 0-for-3 as El Paso’s second baseman, leaving Urias to slide over to shortstop as he looks to find his feel at the plate. He went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, lifting his Triple-A OPS to 1.008.
France’s slipped to 1.385 as his 14-game hitting streak came to an end.
