Nick Torres hit his third homer since joining Triple-A El Paso and Patrick Kivlehan hit his first as a member of the Padres organization in a 5-2 win over Fresno on Monday in the Pacific Coast League.
Torres also singled and drove in two runs to push his average to .383 through his first 12 games since a promotion from Double-A.
Kivlehan is hitting .214 since the Padres picked him up off waivers from the Mariners.
Hunter Renfroe was out of the lineup a second day in a row after taking a pitch off his right forearm/wrist.
