Ryan Weathers was not particularly sharp coming out of the Midwest League all-star break.
The 19-year-old left-hander allowed five runs in three-plus innings in low Single-A Fort Wayne’s 6-3 loss at Great Lakes on Friday.
Only four of the runs were earned, but four crossed the plate in the fourth inning, when Weathers gave up five straight hits and committed a throwing error before he was lifted without recording an out.
