Triple-A pitching?
Not a problem for Luis Urias.
The Padres’ second baseman of the (not-too-distant) future hit three home runs in Triple-A El Paso’s game at Las Vegas, Urias’ second straight multi-homer game.
Six of Urias’ seven homers have come since he returned to El Paso last Sunday. The 21-year-old infielder was 2-for-24 in the majors before the Padres returned him to the Pacific Coast League, but is hitting .400 after homering in his first three at-bats Sunday.
Urias’ three homers accounted for six RBIs, pushing his total to 12. He homered twice in Saturday’s win and is already one shy of matching the career-best eight he logged last year at El Paso.
