Patino struck out seven over six strong innings, leading high Single-A Lake Elsinore to a 5-1 win over visiting Visalia.
Patino (2-3, 3.75) scattered a run, two hits and walk walks in his first quality start of the season. He had allowed seven earned runs over his previous 10 innings, which including allowed three earned runs in one inning on April 19.
The win was his first since his first start of the season.
