CJ Abrams has been plenty comfortable in pro ball.
The sixth overall pick last month, the 18-year-old shortstop collected two more hits and swiped his eighth base in the Arizona League Padres’ 14-9 win over a Giants team on Wednesday.
Through his first 12 games as a pro, Abrams – who served as a DH on Wednesday – is hitting .455/.483/.636 with one homer, six RBIs and four walks against five strikeouts.
Shortstop Chris Givins (.1.133 OPS) drove in two runs on two hits and right fielder Yordi Francisco (.
