Josh Naylor had four hits, Austin Allen was a triple short of the cycle and Michael Gettys hit his 24th home run Tuesday night as Triple-A El Paso opened a six-game stretch against the Las Vegas Aviators.
That’s the good news for the Chihuahuas.
The bad news: Bryan Mitchell.
Pitching for the third time since returning to El Paso from a rehab stint in the Arizona League, Mitchell (0-2, 15.00) allowed 11 hits and eight runs in 3 2/3 innings as the Aviators rallied for a 9-6 victory in Las Vegas.
