The Padres were slaughtered by the Marlins tonight, and it’s all Mike Dee's fault. It was Dee that caused Colin Rea to give up 8 runs in 2.2 innings, and he’s the reason Adam Rosales missed a catch in the third that caused two of those to be unearned. And in the fifth inning, Dee personally went out to first base and twisted Travis Jankowski’s ankle until the young outfielder had to leave the game. But Dee of course had nothing to do with the quartet of home runs from Myers, Kemp, Rosales, and Upton. And he also wasn’t responsible for Christian Bethancourt’s scoreless inning at the opposite end of his usual spot in the battery.
