Nick Margevicius got loose Friday at Busch Stadium amidst a little more pageantry than what he experienced before his first start of last season precisely one year earlier.
While he stretched and played catch before his second major league start, the Budweiser Clydesdales trotted past and then trucks carrying Hall of Famers Lou Brock and Ozzie Smith and Whitey Herzog drove by. A ballpark dressed in red erupted in cheers every few minutes, as World Series trophies were placed behind home plate and so many highlights from so many good seasons were shown on the video board.
