Where: Robb Field, Ocean Beach; Play Ball Park, downtown in front of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
Schedule: Games at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday; 10:30 a.m. Saturday; 9:30 a.m. Sunday; 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Monday. (Games at both sites at all times except no games at Play Ball Park at 10:30 Friday or 8:30 Monday.)
The Major League Baseball All-Stars take the field Monday and Tuesday at Petco Park.
But before the big boys take their swings in the Home Run Derby and the 87th All-Star Game, kids from all around the country will get their chance to play in San Diego.
